This Privacy Policy applies to the website https://www.beatdreamer.com (“BeatDreamer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). BeatDreamer provides free Hip Hop and R&B instrumental beats for download and streaming.

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, download beats, play audio, share tracks, or send a message through our contact form.

2. Information we collect

BeatDreamer does not require an account and does not ask you to sign up to browse, play, or download beats. We still process limited information as described below.

Information you give us

• Contact form: name, email address, subject, and message if you write to us.
• We only use this to reply to your enquiry (licensing questions, technical issues, collabs, or general support).

Information collected automatically

• Pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (city/country), device type, browser, and language.
• How you use the player and site (for example, visits to the beats grid or contact page).
• IP address and standard server/log data processed by our host and analytics tools.

Information stored only on your device

• Download and share counters are saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key beatDreamerStats.
• This data stays on your device so counters can persist between visits. It is not sent to our server as a user profile.
• You can clear it anytime by deleting site data in your browser settings.

3. How we use information

• Operate and improve beatdreamer.com, including playback and downloads.
• Measure traffic and which pages or beats are popular.
• Show advertising that helps keep the beats free.
• Reply to messages you send us.
• Detect abuse, spam, or technical problems.
• Comply with law if we are legally required to.

We do not sell your personal information.

Google Analytics

5. Third-party services

These providers may process data when you use BeatDreamer:

• Google Analytics — usage statistics.
• Google AdSense — advertising.
• Formspree — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox. Their processing is described in Formspree’s privacy policy.
• CDN / font / icon hosts — Tailwind CSS CDN, Google Fonts, and Font Awesome (cdnjs) may receive your IP address when styles and icons load.
• Social platforms — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and WhatsApp if you follow those links or use share buttons. Those sites have their own policies.
• Hosting / CDN — our web host and any content delivery network that serves pages, images, and MP3 files.

We do not control third-party cookies or pixels set after you leave beatdreamer.com.

6. Beats, downloads, and commercial use

Downloading or streaming a beat does not create an account. File requests for MP3s and artwork may appear in standard server logs (time, file name, IP address) used for security and bandwidth management.

License terms for using the instrumentals (including commercial use) are separate from this Privacy Policy. See our License & Terms page for how you may use the music. This Privacy Policy only covers personal data, not ownership of the beats.

7. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on these bases:

• Legitimate interests — running a free beat site, security, basic analytics, answering support mail.
• Consent — non-essential cookies and personalized advertising where required by law.
• Contract / steps you request — handling a message you send us.
• Legal obligation — if we must keep or disclose information by law.

8. How long we keep data

• Contact messages: kept as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up (typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required).

• localStorage counters: remain on your device until you clear them.

• Do not submit the contact form if you do not want us to receive your name and email.

BeatDreamer is a general-audience music site. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the relevant age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Security

We use HTTPS and standard hosting security practices. No website is completely secure. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive data through the contact form — BeatDreamer does not need that information to provide free beats.

14. External links

The site links to social networks and may open share dialogs. Those destinations are not covered by this policy. Review their privacy terms before you post or log in there.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, ads, analytics, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of beatdreamer.com after an update means you accept the revised policy.
